No Started without rain, but still steep and seemingly dangerous. About half way down it started to rain and the clouds came up from the lowlands making the trail rocks slick.
Upon rereading, the book warned that trail was 'steep, narrow, and exposed or all three, with rails and cables put in to assist in the worst parts.' We' d add, 'slick when wet, not recommended in bad weather.'
Didn't get many photos coming down in the rain. Once we made it past the snow field we knew there were no more exposed areas and our heart beats and adrenalin could return closer to normal.
Now to find lunch....
